Betelgeuse's HistoryBetelgeuse - named so by his father, who came to love him dearly. This male wolf was born to a litter of six Mexican wolf puppies- four males, and two females. As male pups do, the five aspiring warriors were always roughhousing with each other, playing and building their strength to become noble warriors, as their dear father was. The surviving six were named Pleiades, Canopus, Arcturus, Capella, Mimosa, and of course, our little Betelgeuse. During the first months of their lives, all seemed well.
